Fleets
Fleets are logical groupings that organize drivers and vehicles by zone, service type, shift, or any other operational dimension. They provide structure for dispatch management and Orchestrator scoping.
Fleet Attributes
| Field | Purpose |

| Name | Display identifier (e.g., "Metro North", "Night Shift") |
| Color | Color code for map visualization |
| Task | Optional label describing the fleet's purpose |
| Service Area | Geographic operating zone |
| Zone | Sub-zone within the service area |
| Vendor | Owning carrier or vendor |
| Parent Fleet | Hierarchical parent fleet for aggregated metrics |
| Status | active or inactive |
Live Metrics
Each fleet card displays real-time metrics:
- Driver counts — total and currently online
- Vehicle counts — total and currently online
Hierarchical fleets aggregate these metrics across all child fleets.
Creating a Fleet
- Navigate to Fleet Management → Resources → Fleets
- Click + New Fleet
- Enter the fleet name and optional color
- Assign a service area and/or zone
- Save
Adding Drivers and Vehicles
Adding Drivers:
- Open a fleet detail panel
- Click the Drivers tab
- Click + Add Driver and select from the list
Adding Vehicles:
- Open a fleet detail panel
- Click the Vehicles tab
- Click + Add Vehicle and select from the list
A driver or vehicle can belong to multiple fleets.
Hierarchical Fleets
Fleets can be nested to reflect organizational hierarchy:
National Fleet

Metrics at each level aggregate upward to the parent fleet.
How Fleets Are Used in Dispatch
